How are you my dear blog? It's been a while eh.

Many things happened during my hiatus. I dont know if I can write as frequent as before, I want to though. I'm currently at a new company (almost 2 months now). I'm getting my dream bike soon enough. I'm really really really need to complete my thesis (my progress sucks btw). My beloved Accord died on me during puasa. My scooter kinda 'merajuk' on me.(superstitious je nih).

My new job. What can I say eh. It's totally different from what I used to do. So far it's ok. But I'm pretty sure I'll be damn bored with it in no time. Hopefully after my confirmation I'll be able to switch to job specs that better suits me.

This kind of news makes me wanna see the movie even more. Several people faint after watched Saw III. Hmm... Cinema sure takde. Where else eh... Have to download la camnih. :)

Enough la. I can't think what I wanna write anymore. It's a warm up entry eh...

PM: Those who spread untruths on the Net will be detained

KUALA TERENGGANU: The Prime Minister has issued a warning – those who spread untruths and slander on the Internet will face the law.

If information in blogs, websites and online portals were incorrect, bordered on slander, caused disturbance or compelled the public to lose faith in the nation’s economic policies, their authors would be detained for investigation, said Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

“We cannot allow such matters to flow through uncontrolled,” he told newsmen after attending a briefing on the proposed Islamic Civilisation Park in Pulau Wan Man here.

“They say all kinds of things, make all kinds of dubious claims. We cannot allow them to abuse the freedom earned under the media. If left alone, they can say or pass on all kinds of things.”

Abdullah also said that those who sent out such information via short message system (SMS) would also be held accountable.

“If they abuse the freedom – more than the present freedom given without any restriction – we cannot allow it,” he declared.

“Where in the world is there such a freedom, where one can freely spread incorrect information and slander without having to own up to it?”

Asked if he was calling for a control mechanism, Abdullah said he would leave it to the police to investigate first.

It was reported recently that the Internal Security Ministry was investigating several online sites following a string of misreporting that caused tension and confusion among Internet users.

Earlier, the Prime Minister was briefed on the proposed park’s facilities. It will have 21 replicas of historical monuments that feature Islamic architecture, including the National Mosque (Malaysia), the Grand Mosque (Mecca), the Dome of Rock (Jerusalem) and the Taj Mahal (India).

The centrepiece of the RM250-million park, which will be completed in June next year, will be a crystal mosque which can accommodate 800 people.

Abdullah also opened a nipah (mangrove palm) sap collection and processing centre in Kelulut, Marang, here.

He said the palm had long existed in the country but only its sap had been tapped so far to produce a drink while its parts had not been commercially exploited.

“The drink has now been bottled and marketed to as far as West Asia,” he said.

Abdullah said nipah, abundant along rivers in Terengganu, should be further exploited to produce more products such as brown sugar, vinegar and flavour for ice cream.

Our own Information Minister Datuk Zainuddin Maidin (ZAM) now have taking steps to control Net media. You can read it (here, here and here).

“We need to have a similar form of control over Internet media and blogs, as the medium is used to spread unfounded allegations that pose a threat to national security and racial unity,” he added.

Basically what he is saying is that "mainstream media had gained credibility because of the laws making them responsible for what they published."
I say this is not entirely true. Most of the bloggers, blog or write for their own satisfaction. It's not a job. It's their own way of expressing themself. SO most of them write about what they like. They do research too. Although most of them was based on the Internet, but still it's a research. It was backed by others. So how can you say that bloggers didn't have credibility? Bulls**t.

Mainstream media sometimes did the same. They just do their research in the internet and come up with an articles. Do you guys remember the stupid journalist and editor who 'rocks' the anime and manga fans. (here) The journalist writes an articles with a totally wrong facts. It was a very hot topic last time if I can recall.

So, it was wrong for you to write an article with the wrong facts. Get your facts right. Today I found another article with a wrong fact. It's about Joey. The author wrote that Joey attracted to Gina but the facts is Gina's is his sister. The point here is how can ZAM says that Net media isn't credible? You should probably make sure the mainstream media deliver the facts right and as a whole first. If they are, there's no need for people to turn their heads to Net media. It's all because there is so much information here than mainstream media.

What can I say, lately all you can read in the mainstream media was the story of Siti and her datuk or Mawi and his ex-fiance. Blargghhh....

Justify control you freak

Oh damn... Our government starts to justify controlling the Internet. Our ex-PM, Tun Mahathir once said ther will be no censorship over internet. But since he's out of power now I think they(government) will start to implying some rules eh. I say it's bull.

Some of bloggers who actively writing about flaws in our government have taking a step back now. But for me who writes rubbish I dont think I have to worry. Better be careful of what you gonna say.

So what you guys think? I'd love to hear what my 'gomen' friends comments. Drop a line will ya.

Monday Blues...

I'm still sleepy. Heck, I wonder if it's just me or everyone else also feels the same. They called it 'Monday Blues'. Should the 'Monday Blues' symptom only affects the night before and early morning on Monday only? Huh... I'm having the blues throughout the whole Monday (at least till 5.30pm). Dang... I feel sleepy. My body ache. I can't think straight, heck, I can't even think. Not good huh..

Now I'm trying to stay awake by surfing the net and write blog. At least I try to force my brain to work. Come on guys.

So, what's new? It's Mega Sales time now here. Wanna buy everything but yet to buy something. For the past 2-3 months I'm kinda short of money la. Where all my ciput salary went? I need to really manage my money as it should. No more buying stuff that I can't afford. Heheh... Sometimes I see it as necessities. So how? Need to limit my cc usage la. It's getting scarier month by month. :)

What happened in the world nowadays. The fight in Middle-East. It's so obvious that what Israel did was way over, sgt2 terlampau. Bullshit betul. And US obviously using their power to justify what Israel did. They even vetoed a resolution. Today, Blair and Annan call for troops in Israel. They said to stop the bombardment of Isrel. And they called Israel's attack was self-defensed. Oh God. It was an obvious lie. The truth is Israel have been waiting for a reason to launch attack towards Palestin. Even it was a tiny reason. I'm very sad of this obvious deception.

Even 3 days after the World Cup is over people still talk about the finals between Italy and France. The most favourite topic of course about the famous headbutting to the chest. If Maradona goal in the final we call it 'Hand of God' so what we gonna call this latest sensation? any idea....

"On July 9, 2006, Zidane became one of only four footballers to achieve the feat of scoring in two different World Cup final matches (he scored twice in the 1998 FIFA World Cup final), sharing the honour with Pelé, Paul Breitner, and Vavá. He scored in the seventh minute from the penalty spot using a seldom-seen chip shot. He nearly headed in the ball during the first period of extra time but it was saved by Gianluigi Buffon.

He was sent off for violent conduct after headbutting Italy's goalscorer, Marco Materazzi, in the chest in the 110th minute. The game ended in a 1-1 draw and Italy won the championship after a penalty kick shootout.

Since both players refused to comment on the incident, there are various allegations about what led to Zidane's violent outburst. His agent, Alain Migliaccio has claimed that a "very serious" comment by Materazzi provoked the attack. Reportedly, the deaf forensic lip-reader Jessica Rees was employed to analyze the video sequences with the help of an Italian translator. Materazzi denied the report or at least half of it.

"According to Milan based La Gazzetta dello Sport, Materazzi admitted that he insulted Zidane, but recounted the incident as follows: "I held his shirt for a few seconds only, then he turned to me and talked to me, jeering. He looked at me with a huge arrogance and said: 'If you really want my shirt, I'll give it to you afterwards'. I replied with an insult, that's true." He stressed that the insults were "the type that we've heard before so many times on the pitch, and sometimes we don't even notice it".

Responding to reports that he had called Zidane a "dirty terrorist" or "son of a terrorist whore", Materazzi insisted that the insult was not racist in nature, and that he did not even know what a terrorist was. He also rejected claims that he had insulted Zidane's mother: "I certainly didn't talk about Zidane's mother because to me the mother is sacred". Zidane's mother had been taken ill to hospital hours before the World Cup final."

Another note:
On July 10, 2006, Zidane was awarded the Golden Ball for the best player in the 2006 World Cup. The winner was selected by a poll of journalists covering the tournament; Zidane polled 2012 points, ahead of Fabio Cannavaro, who polled 1977 points. Most votes were cast during half-time of the final match; voting closed that night at midnight.

Because of both sides refused to talk about exactly what happened, we can only depends on this reports to at least try to understand why a great player such as Zidane do something like that. Hopefully he will talk soon. In the mean time hail rumours.

Italy win the World Cup 2006. As we all know it was the result of the penalty shootout after the match still tied 1-1 even after extra time.

The game was great. Italy deserve to win. They played better than France last night.

Why Zizou? Why? I'm sure he's been provoked but it was a stupid move.

Now we all can go back to our normal life cycle. Normal sleep hours meh.

When the story of a mother whom bring all her children to commit suicide together all over the newspaper, we, no I wonder how does someone have a courage to take their own live.

A day after the story came out, politician do what they do best. Give an opinion or most of the time useless and baseless opinion. Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk G. Palanivel suggested that suicide scenes in Indian movies should be banned as they were a bad influence on viewers. Is that it? Or is it just a first step?

Then on todays local news, a counsellor from Era Consumer Malaysia said that by censoring movies alone was not enough because it is not a root cause of suicides.

"From our experience, movies alone cannot cause suicides. It is probably only a minor contributing factor as a suicidal person would have attempted suicide a few times before. From the earlier attempts, they get the courage to finally carry it out," Nanthini said.

Other causes of suicide, Nanthini said, include a loss of confidence, a loss of trust and their spouses’ extra-marital affairs. Physical and mental abuse and financial reasons have also driven women to commit suicide.

"As such, we need more Indian counsellors as well as awareness programmes and advice columns for women in Tamil dailies," she said.

Based on the statistic here ib Malaysia apparently cases of committing suicides was lead by Indians. And the ratio is more than 2:1 from other races. I'm not being racists or anything here. It's just my opinion here. Why more Indians committed suicides as their final resorts than other races?

I have a colleague when I was working in UM. An Indian guy. Very nice guy with a bright future I might say. He was the only breadwinner in his family. He took care of his family. He have a good job, well-paid job and just got married at that time. The falldown started after he was involved in an accident. One after another. I remember it was twice in 2 weeks period. The first one he suffered only a minor scratches. The second accident he need a surgery because the doctor found that his ligament has snapped. The third accident occured just a day before he was scheduled to undergo an operation for his ligament.

The third accident changes everything. He was badly hit by a car. The last time I went to the hospital visiting him he was still paralysed. All of his body was paralysed. His father come to my office several times after the accident with a doctor letter to settle some claims and all. Everytime he came, he cried. I just can be there and listen to his story. Because the son is the only breadwinner of the house, now they don't have any income. He also talk about committing suicides.

What I think at that time was why it have to come to that? Committing suicides? Maybe they feel that by doing that all the pain will gone. They doesn't have to think how to survive anymore. A bit shallow if you ask me. Maybe they believe in second chance in their next life. If they believe in that, what about this life? Just give up and try the next one.

Is it me or I just talking crap here? Wonder...

Ashes of the Wake

The university still on holiday but the heat was already started. In University Malaya on 5th of July deputy Information Minister Zahid Hamidi used his speech and tried to explain about Abdullah-Mahathir dispute. Then a Chinese-Malaysian student freshie pose him a question.

"Adakah wajar Datuk bercakap memperkecilkan seorang pemimpin yang telah menyumbangkan jasa bakti selama 22 tahun untuk negara ini?"

The question shock the deputy Information Minister and conclude his speech by addressing the students to support the current government. This piece of news I got from blogger AMLG.

As an ex-UM student I'm proud that a new students are aware of current political situation in our country. Mind you guys that this is a freshies we are talking about because it's still orientation week and the senior student cannot get into the universities compound.

On that day passers by and UM administration was surprised by two banners that show support towards Tun Dr. Mahathir. There's also rumours that UM new VC, Dr. Rafiah Salim have to asked the guard (without uniform) to take the banner down.

From the events that occured it shows that people including young and bright students in our beloved country Malaysia aware of the needs of Tun's critics. We need our government to be more open in managing our country. Stop keeping the 'rakyat' in the dark. IMHO with the Tun being outspoken towards the government now, it surely takes the voice to the highest level of administration. Not like when someone with no names speak up.

The Useless Rants

So I've been busy for the past 2-3 weeks. Busy, busy and busy. There were so many unfinished tasks be it at work or personal stuff. Huh, what an excuse ek, for not updating this blog. Well, actually there's a lot to talk and write but it's just I don't have time to do that.

This morning I woke up late, therefore I only manage to get to the office one and a half hour late. Thanks to World Cup last night. But it all worth it. Germany versus Italy. Before the match I predict Italy to play defensively and Germany will beat them at last. My prediction was way off. The game was entertaining with both side attacking each other. Italy had more shots on goal though. It was end dramatically. Like last time when Italy beat Australia. They didn't score till the last freaking minutes. Man, nothing can beat how I feel at the time. Italy actually have been hoping for penalty kick and playing for that in the last 10 minutes. But they finally score when only 2 minutes left in the game. The Germans heart was shattered to pieces for sure.

Now France and Portugal need to play their best to make sure they can get into the final. I hope Portugal will play more professionally. No more controversies on how dirty their game was. By the way, last night game between Italy and Germany was very good and clean. Only 3 yellow cards were awarded. Great game eh...

That's about World Cup. Yesterday I attend an interview at one company that I've been dreaming to work with all this while. It was a second and final interview. It goes well (I think). I hope to nail this job. Wish me luck guys.

Last week was quite eventful also. My friend's brother died of stroke (or heart attack, not sure la). He was still young and never had a history of a stroke before. It was a sudden death. I'm sorry for him and his family. The event also make me thinking of my life. Most of us lead our life like we are not gonna go anywhere anytime soon. Although there's a saying in Islam that goes like this. "Work hard like you gonna live forever and also pray hard like you gonna die tomorrow". We never know what will happen to us. So do everything full heartedly, so that we're not gonna have regrets later. I'm gonna take care of my health as good as I can. You guys too aigght.

My shoes was stolen while I stopped at Masjid Ar-Rahman for Maghrib prayer. I prayed only less than 5 minutes and the shoes was gone. Damn thief.

On Saturday, two of my best friends got engaged, to one another. Congratulations to Remie and Anie on your engagement. I wish you guys happily ever after.

And what with all the fuss about our 'kongsi raya' tradition could be threat to a Muslim? I'm not trying to tunjuk pandai or anything (coz I'm really not :D) but IMHO there's nothing wrong with the tradition. We're celebrating the festivals because our neighbour or friends (non-Muslim) are celebrating it. We share the excitement, that's all. Plus it's nothing to do with religious. We're not stop praying or eat something 'haram' for God sake. It's just show that we can live with them peacefully despite our differences. Correct me if I'm wrong people. What say you? Is our faith that fragile? Ask yourself.

I have a problem. I know the problem but it seems I can't get rid of it. It was my nature I think. My grandma said that. huh... u all might say. But my grandma have this great intuition. Nothing like phsycic but it's more like a hunch. And it was always right (mostly when it concerned me :D). Lenkali aku citer about hunches that she's had.

Why people are so nosy? Nak menyebok diam2 dah aaa... Don't go around and telling me how you feel about it when that thing wasn't meant for you to know in the first place. It make me so wanna punch you in the face. Lagi pulak it effect me or people around me directly. F**k you, you whore. Malas plak aku nak citer.

it's been quite a while eh... I'm pretty busy nowadays. despite all the wedding receptions to attend during the weekends, now i also need to step up my effort to complete the bloody thesis asap. dangg... and i feel my body weakening because of lack of workouts... the only sports i still consistently do was basketball... lama dah tak main tenis, gi jogging, badminton... uggghhhh...

Fraudsters who deal in stolen credit card data have devised a means to extract money from sponsors of junk mail campaigns.

Carders have signed up as affiliates to spam campaigns, but instead of sending out junk mail themselves they are using stolen credit card data to make purchases from the sponsors of spam campaigns, such as online pharmacies.

The carders earn a cut of these sales of anything between 40 to 50 per cent, the Washington Post's security blog reports, more than enough to make the scam1 viable.

But the sponsors of spam campaigns end up losing out because of charge backs generated when fraudulent purchases are identified. Higher incidents of charge-backs result in higher merchant fees while drawing the attention of banks and credit cards sponsors to dubious businesses. Far from benefiting from increased sales, spam sponsors end up losing out. In this way, card fraudsters are scamming the backers of spam.

Spam sponsors are complaining about been ripped off, a factor that allowed net security firm CipherTrust to identify the new ruse during the course of its work monitoring online spam and fraud forums.

"Basically, we're seeing the carders and phishers starting to look for other ways to make money and starting to discuss new methods of making profits from their scams," CipherTrust research scientist Dmitri Alperovitch said. ®

The latest instalment of X Men, X Men: The Last Stand was indeed a good movie. Of course if you appreciate fantasies and super-power humans or mutants storyline. It's cool and I love it. Most of my favourite character in X-Men make an appearence in this movie. Ice Man, Pyro, Phoenix, Juggernaut, Beast, Angel and yg lain2 cam Wolverine, Magneto, Storm. Oh yeah, if you guys watch the movie pleaseeeee wait till end of credit. I know it's very long credits but they have some spoof back there. It's worth it I told you.

Congratulations tu a friend. Semalam sepatutnya selamat bernikah. But I've yet to hear from him, yer la dah selamat ke belum, berapa lafaz, and all the usual stuff heheheh....

Some idiots just doesn't have the rights to say anything la. Any of you guys heard of Malaysian Linguistic Association (Malas)? Not me... Not before their stupid president make a very funny comments recently. Are the association really exists? Or it's just another association that exists just to give people like their president (Ambi Mohan) a freaking title. So he can go like "Hi,my name is Ambi. I'm the President of Malas". Huhh... Terbukti malas (it's lazy in English) la diorang nih. I've tried to google them but there's no websites of the association. Malas tul... ehehe...

Oh yeah, some of you may know what I'm rambling about, but for those who doesn't know I'll paste here the article from NST written by Amir Muhammad in his columns. It really show that this association have a very stupid president (just like America? ooppss :D).

Linguists call for ‘Da Vinci Code’ ban

THE Malaysian Linguistic Association (Malas) has echoed calls by other parties to ban the controversial movie The Da Vinci Code.

The film is an adaptation of a best-selling novel that deals with some aspects of the Christian faith. But the objection by Malas has nothing to do with theology because "we don’t even know who Theo is", says its president Ambi Mohan.

The association’s chief objection is, instead, linguistic.

"For too long we have sat by and allowed language to be polluted but we have decided that enough’s enough. The Da Vinci Code should be banned because we don’t want to encourage youngsters to use ‘da’ as a lazy shorthand for ‘the’.

"We see this in rap lyrics," he claims.

"All this talk about ‘hanging out with da hoes’. You should be hanging out with THE hoes. This sort of begs the question of why someone would want to ‘hang out’ with gardening implements to begin with, but I am not here to question lifestyle choices, merely spelling, grammar and semantics."

He said the association might reconsider its protests if the filmmakers changed its name to The The Vinci Code.

"But even this is problematic because having two ‘thes’ in a row look ugly. So the film should be called The Vinci Code."

The film’s producers could not be reached for comment.

Linguists seek Harry Potter ban

FRESH from its controversial call to ban The Da Vinci Code (NST, May 4), the Malaysian Linguistic Association (Malas) is once more taking aim at a pop-cultural institution be- loved of bourgeois readers.

Its president Ambi Mohan wants the final Harry Potter book banned. What’s unusual about this is that the book has yet to be published! The seventh and last instalment of British writer J.K. Rowling’s franchise about a boy wizard is due out only in July 2007 and does not even have a confirmed title yet.

"There’s nothing wrong with asking for something to be banned before we can fully ascertain its contents," he says while adjusting his trademark bow-tie. "This read-before-you-judge concept is very Eurocentric and not suited to our tropical climate."

The association’s objection to Harry Potter is not merely linguistic this time, but in the interest of national security.

"As a patriotic Malaysian, it is my duty to speak up," he says. "My sister Anadil, who attended a charity dinner hosted by an anti-drug foundation, told me that ‘pot’ is slang for marijuana. Therefore I suspect that Harry’s surname of Potter indicates that he is a drug addict. Potter means he specialises in pot, just as a ‘fighter’ is someone who fights and ‘forester’ someone who deals with forests. You’d need to be a linguist to figure this out."

Ambi confirms that he has no solid evidence to back this claim "but the data that we have is highly persuasive. Only a drug addict would imagine he is a wizard who can fly and disappear and perform magical tricks.

These things cannot happen in reality as they defy the laws of Physics, which I studied at secondary school. Also his initials are HP which can stand for Hemp Promotion."

He has another theory. "The reason why this final Harry Potter book is shrouded in mystery is that the author does not want to reveal its drug content. She knows this will cause the book to be banned in Malaysia (a very important market for the books) so she is keeping quiet.

I think the final book will reveal that Harry gets his amazing powers by smoking ganja, tooting on joints and firing up doobies!" he says and starts to giggle uncontrollably.

Rowling and her publisher could not be reached for comment although we really tried.

Hahaha.. this one even better. The reason not merely linguistic but it's for national security. Aper la alasan ko nih... Do you afraid Harry Potter will be You Know Who allied and use their power to attack our beloved country. Oh, for God sake, shut your stinking mouth la. Don't get me started to his alasan using word 'pot' as the reason to why we should ban the book.

2 movies, a wedding and a lot of television series

The title pretty much sum up what I'm up to for the past week. I watch Poseidon and The Da Vinci Code. For Poseidon, what can I say... The movie is pretty straight forward suspens movie. More or less like Armageddon, Perfect Storm kind of movie. The movie was quite good though in my opinion. Entertaining nevertheless.

Da Vinci Code on the other hand, wasn't that good. Quite dissappointing for me. I've read numerous comments and reviews for this movie and I agree in most of them. For me, whoever read the book before watching the movie will not enjoy the cinema version that much. But people who didn't read the book and go straight for the movie instead will find it somewhat entertaining. It's not because those who've read know all the surprises and secrets but it merely the book is far more interesting.

On Saturday, I attend Amri's and Aishah's wedding. Congratulations to the newlyweds. You guys look great together. (No means to insult ur ex tau Aishah.. :D) But really you better off with Aie la... The reception was held at Dewan Precint 8, Putrajaya. A lot of ex-schoolmates came. Cam reunion la plak. eheh.. Senang2 takyah aa wat reunion lagik ek... Kalo ada schoolmate yg kawin sama ngan schoolmate kan senang. Don't worry, more weddings camnih will come. Muahahahaha.....

Skang nih cam malas giler nak gi mana2 lepas balik keje. What i do ialah, qada' all the tv series yg dah download tuh tapi blom tgk. Skang nih most of the series dah nak season finale. So cambest jer. Prison break mmg sangat memecahkan kepala otak aku tul la. Dah la tgh2 season ari tuh diorang sajer jer stop show for 3 months. Skang nih finale dia sangat2 la mendebarkan. Kalo sakit jantung ngan takde kesabaran tuh jgn tgk la. GG pon dah abis season. Scrubs, Numb3rs, CSI, Smallville ngan The OC pon sama. Skang nak abiskan Supernatural, Ghost Whisperer, House ngan Grey's plak. Wahhh... best giler. Tuh yg thesis aku tak nak siap2 nih. Isk isk isk...

I listen to almost any music that I feel good. Regardless its genre. I listen to local artists as well as international singer. I do feels some of our local singer have a good voice, great music and all. How they didn't get far in the industry don't ask me. Many of them yg I feel can go far only produces one or two albums. One hit wonder phenom I would say.

Juliet The Orange - one of them also used to be in Brodwyn with their hit song(only song that I know) - Ode From A Psychopath
I really like their music. If you never heard of them u'll surely think they're an international artist. Maybe from UK or whatnot.

Blind Tribe - a talented band that plays hardcore.

Indecisive - their only song i know was Empty Decorations (Kopitiam OST). Diorang nih ada album ke tak?

This are antara band yg I really like to know where are they now? What have happened to them? Pastu where Positive Tone nowadays? The labels used to produced a great album from new local artists. I know their boss Izham now was with 8TV but takkan takde label lain yg continue their efforts?

i manage to watch lantai t. pinkie at istana budaya last friday. thanks to haizal for secure the tix for us. i know, i still owe you man. eheh... this is the first time i watch a show at istana budaya. memula sampai giler pusing-pusing carik parking. haizal dah sampai awal lagi. first time tuh dia sampai awal kalo tak manjang lambat jer. terpaksa la dia tunggu me n dla sampai hehehe.. sori la bro...

okey talk about the show... IMHO it was so-so... not bad and not that good.... i can't compare it with other t. pinkie show that have been staged before coz this is my first time watch it... fyi this is the third time they staged the show based on A. Samad Said novel. The first one I think the main actress was Tiara, second is Safura and now it's Nasha Aziz.

it was a full house that night. tgk2 rupanya2 there's a vip in the house. there was dato' sharizat. a. samad said also was present. patut la full. kitorang nyer seat best thanks again to haizal. about the show, set dia cantik. ye lar before nih aku just layan show2 kat actorstudio yg tak mementingkan set... but kat actorsstudio pon banyak show2 yg menarik. there's a lot of talented actors and actresses there... one thing, nasha mmg cun la... and because nature of the story yg cerita pasal life seorang penari yg saban masa menggoyangkan their ass... so i think they use prop to make it look bigger in most of the actresses.. even nasha if i'm not mistaken la... nyang sunarti or azizah mahzan pon sama.. obvious giler... maybe that's how the director tackle the story... from their point of view... if you read the novel, A. Samad Said punya bahasa mmg sangat2 jalanan la. tapi for this theater the director dah put it into words yg sangat deep. so kena concentrate sepanjang the show if nak understand what the story is all about.

ada part2 yg kelakar. especially by s.diman. dong ding dong ding dong!!! part2 menari dia tak best sangat la. i don't know la what's missing but macam tak cukup ummpphh... lagu dia pon kureng... sori la pak ngah ek, this is just my 2 cents...nasha pon menari keras jerk... tapi lakonan nyang sunarti(azizah mahzan), gunjoloh(azhan abd. ghani) and jongkidin jaroi (jalaludin hassan) sgt berkesan... even puteh su(soong ai ling) pon okay... "tua tapi ***, keras tapi mengerti"... eheh (saper yg tgk paham la kot ek)

antara lain yg cam dissappointed sket is diorang tak nyanyi live... masa monolog or berlakon it's live but masa part nyanyi diorang miming jer... isk isk isk... menurut director because of budget kecik so diorang tak dpt nak adakan live band performance... ala wat minus one la.. u should not miming la... tak best nampak kadang2 mulut2 pelakon tuh tak sync ngan lagu... :)

overall aku kira puas hati la... sebab first time kan.. so tak tahu la nak compare ngan aper :)...

A long weekend. First of all Happy Labour Day. Just came back from a weekend getaway to Perhentian Island. One of snorkelling paradise in our country I might say. It was my first time snorkelling in such a beautiful place. The coral, the water, the fish and the view simply breathtaking. Accompanied by cool people add more nice memories to the trip.

I used to dream about go underwater, snorkelling or scuba diving. Underwater, other side of the world that we need to see and enjoy. I can't describe the scenery coz it was so damn cun... The fish eating from your palm and even one or two bite ur finger while their at it. Heheh... Talking about things you have to do in life. At least once you need to go underwater laa... Trust me.

The journey started with me and zahar using the lrt to go to Putra Bus Station. On the way something really shitty happened to me. My pda suddenly hang and when I reset the damn thing it was formatting itself. All my contact numbers, sms-es, mms-es, calendar, notes, basically everything was erased. It was a disaster I told u. Being me yg tak penah nak hafal number phone. Damn... Luckily I just do a full backup before went to the trip but still I only can retrieve all the data only after 3 days. It was first time my lovely pda do that to me. Now I am officially will do a full backup of all my data at least once a week. And also backup all my data in the storage card.

Okay back to the journey, we arrived at Putra Bus Station around 9.30pm. Most of bebudak nih dah sampai but to tell u the truth, bapak panas giler station bus tuh. Sumer berpeluh sakan and I'm being sangat easy berpeluh nih not helping at all. Bukan takat ujan jer nih mmg basah abis aaa...

Our bus arrived exactly at 10pm. We all very excited to start the journey. And me plak, dah 2-3 hari rasa cam nak demam. Hopefully tak demam la at the pulau. Tanak aa jadik cam jeg, masa pegi punya excited, sampai2 jer terus demam tak hengat. Sepanjang holiday kitorang kat Summerset tuh dia dok dlm bilik. Masa balik sampai kat kuala pilah jer dah okay balik. Hahahah..tuh la mulut tuh cabul sangat. Kan dah kena penangan Endau-Rompin. And for me plak sepanjang perjalanan ke jeti Kuala Besut from KL, aku tido jer most of the time. Sori la guys, penting tuh rehat and hasilnya aku kembali sihat walafiat sepanjang berada di Perhentian.

Sampai kat Kuala Besut mmg timing canteek aaa... Dlm kul 6.30am. Semayang, breakfast pastu naik bot gi pulau. Huhuhu... seriously cantik beb, dalam bot masa matahari tgh naik. Ughhh love it. Pastu mamat bot nih bawak laju, mentang2 la bot baru. Aku tgk license dia, bot tuh usia dia tak sampai setahun pon. Orang2 yg dok kat depan bot tuh abis terhentak2 bila langgar wave. Sian kat Nani, sampai muntah2.

After check-in kat Flora Bay Resort, Pulau Perhentian Besar. Kitorang rehat2 sampai kul 12. Pastu lunch and terus ke tempat snorkelling. Kitorang should ada at least 3 sesi snorkelling. So petang tuh snorkelling jer. Mmg menarik abis. Bayangkan la, first tempat kitorang stop was called Tiga Ruang. Actually kat situ diorang bawak just for familiarkan saper2 yg first timer tuh ngan how to snorkelling. Camner nak pakai mask, camner nak ketatkan mask, camner nak nafas ikut mulut and all the basics of snorkelling. But bebudak yg tak tahu ingatkan kat situ first site for snorkelling coz kat situ pon mmg ada banyak coral ngan ikan yg colourful. Pastuh bila kitorang cakap yg tuh just tempat training lagi2 la excited. Kalo tempat training camtuh punya cun, camner la kat site snorkelling yg betul2 ek. Perghh... Indescribeable tul...

Antara tempat yg kitorang stop for snorkelling session was Pulau Rawa, Shark Point, Turtle Bay, tempat Nemo (clown fish), and byk lagi la. Isk sgt menarik la. I just wish I could bring my baby sekali. Mesti excited giler. Ishhh.... Lenkali kot. Kitorang singgah kat Long Beach (Perhentian Kecil) for lunch. Tempat mencuci mata bebudak perv yg tak penah tgk mat saleh topless. Tapi the beach mmg cantik giler. The water is crystal clear, the sand sgt halus and white and we even can see colourful small fish swimming dekat2 ngan pantai. Takyah snorkelling pon takper. eheh....

On the first night after dinner and bola(bodohnyer ManU... nak kalah pon jangan sampai camtuh sekali wei...) we have an activity called Poyo Night. Dah nama pon poyo kan so sumer kena la be sepoyo mungkin. It's a crime for not being poyo. And saper yg cakap ko poyola tuh adalah salah. Malam tuh mmg kena poyo sepoyo poyonyer. (hmm... byknyer guna poyo dlm ayat, salah kot nih... :P) The games was same like Win, Lose or Draw. It's just we use sign language despite drawings to make people guess the sentences. Seres lawak giler.... Siap ada hadiah hamper tuh.

Second night plak bbq session. Sesi melantak yg sangat lantak. Lantak ko la kan. Mind you every sessions and activities sgt2 diselang selikan dengan game yg highly addictive. Card games. For the girls it's UNO. And for the boys there's none that could beat the old colaities or some called it big 2 using a deck of card. Yeah, it's full house, pair, single, four of a kind, flush, royal flush and straight all over again. heheheh....

Dah kalau pegi pantai tuh kan, tak bermakna la kalau tak main bola sepak pantai ngan beach volleyball. Berpeluh2 siot, padahal main sajer2 jer. And lagi satu the most inticipated activity. Gigam session. It's gila gambar for you who doesnt know. Amik gambar cam siot jer. Tak ingat dunia punyer. Aku balik ngan memory card yg full. Ouch... :) Tuh belum masuk sessi mengenakan orang lain tuh. Saper2 yg tanak basah sila2 bersedia. Abis kena angkat masuk laut. Zahar yg first kena. Abis aa ngan jeans segala basah. Pastuh Elyas, tapi dah ready so tak best sgt la. Apis punya la melawan. Tuh la apis lenkali jangan melawan, bukan nak kena culik. Kan dah koyak pouch bag ko. Sori la ek. Lipih yg dah basah ingatkan kitorang nak angkat dia masuk laut gak, tapi silap la. Kalo dah basah mari kita guling-gulingkan atas pasir. Pastuh setan mana tah campak pasir dlm seluar baju sekali. Muahahahahah.... puas hati....

Okayla, senang citer. The vacation is da' bomb. Giler menar aa... Snorkelling menar... Lepak2 borak2 citer lama menar... Amik gambar menar... Tido kat hammock menar... Yg tak menar just this time of year takde angin sangat. So panas giler. I don't really like to deal with idiots. Whether it is a friend or not. Recently I have encounter numerous people who I would love to label them as idiot. No, they're not stupid per se but the way they handle things with me make me wanna curse them in their face.

When you're dealing with someone always keep the line of communications open. Don't just go hiding by not answering your phone or replying all the messages. For f**k sake, we didn't sajer2 nak call if there isn't something important. I despise that kind of people. Talking about have balls. S**t.

Everything can be discuss la. If you know you're wrong, then apologise and explain. Don't just keep silent and menyusahkan other people. Talking about trust. Kawan sendiri nih. Now I know what your words worth. Bodohnya engkau nih. Merosakkan reputasi diri sendiri. Ye la, sooner or later orang akan jumpa ko gak. And mind you guys, it's not a biggie pon. kalau setan nih info awal2. But noooo, he just go into hiatus. Call tak angkat. sms tak reply. Konsert Pesta Malam Indonesia, Dewa showcase at Planet Hollywood ngan Dari Studio 1 bersama Dewa. Pergghhh.... If only I can secure tix for all events sure aku peginyer... Apakan daya poket dah koyak, manage to go only one jer... Pepehal pon still enjoy beb... Yeah....

Ahad ari tuh aku manage to catch a movie with some friends. Plan asal nak tgk Inside Man which I really keen to see but tiket abis la plak, so ada pihak mencadangkan suh kitorang layan Water Spirit. For those who are interested nak tengok citer nih, aku nasihatkan JANGAN... DO NOT... giler membazir laa.. Tahap bengang aku betapa bodohnya citer nih sampai rasa nak keluar jer hall tuh... Citer tahap tapir... Skrip bodoh, pelakon kaku, hantu haram tak seram, arrghhhh...... It kills me even when I write about how I hate the movie. Serius...

After that, sessi lepak2 cam biasa la... Minum2, makan2, gossip2, ceriba2, lawak bodoh, gelak2 dna sebagainya. nak jadik cerita ada member aku sorang tuh terbuat benda yg aku rasa sangat bangang + lawak. Heh.. Well, what can I say. The concert sure rawks... heh.. bila band-band ngetop perform live in front of you guys the feelings just can't be put into words lah. We sure have fun. Just hujan yg secara tiba2 masa Padi tgh perform jer sikit mengaco. Other than that everything was smooth.

Kitorang sampai a lil later than 3 pm. From outside Stadium Merdeka we heard ADA band already performing Manusia Bodoh. Oh, man... Nasib baik aku takde la gila sangat ngan this band kalo tak sure nyesal banget deh sampai lambat. We meet up with Cajun and Nini that have already arrived. And to our surprised nak masuk pon we have to queue up. Panjang lak tuh line dia. Cis cis cis...

After ADA Band perform, Ungu punyer turn plak. I have only heard 2-3 of their songs and it sure was a slow songs. But on the day diorang bawak lagu fast track. Sedap jugak coz it makes people wanna stand up and jump. Pastu Cokelatnyer turn plak. Cam biasa la kan. It was one of my favourite band. Giler syiok aaa...

Our fear of hujan tetiba menjadi kenyataan dlm kul 7 lebih... Dah la masa tuh Padi tgh perform siap ada special appearance by Rossa tuh. Memula tuh nak gagah gak aaa tapi tak jalan gak. habis lenjun beb. Tapi kira2 ujan rahmat la jugak.

Sebab apa aku cakap ujan rahmat, becoz of the ujan kitorang dapat gi backstage weh. Huhuhu... remie siap dapat record padi's performance on the stage lagik. Muahahahah best giler... After Padi perform kitorang gi depan balik join the crowd. Layan beb Gigi. Armand nyer showmanship mmg superb la.

And last band to perform is Dewa. Ari Lasso, Audy ngan Ratu perform selang2 dengan Dewa. Kiranya mmg Dewa main attraction la malam tuh. Supposed diorang bawak lebih 20 lagu tuh. So kiranya tak sesia aa aku membanting tulang gi konsert tuh. Gila, more than 8 hours berdiri. Time balik tuh dah takleh nak rasa kaki sendiri lagik. Tapi kalo korang jenis pegi konsert yg tanak sesak, tanak bau peluh, bau lumpur, jgn ngengada la nak pegi konsert band2 indo nih. Baik pegi konsert nasyid jer. Memang itu yg korang akan dapat. Kaki mmg terbenam abis aa dlm lumpur. Eheh..

Orang kata, a photo is worth a thousand words. So aku letak aaa beberapa keping kasik korang yg tak pegi jeles. Hahaha.. Stoney, syidee, suya... korang mmg rugi weh... :)

The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code is scheduled to open in Malaysia on 18th of May 2006. It's the same date it opens in the United States. I don't know if this means that we're really up-to-date or it just simply to prevents the pirated version to reach our shores first. Huh.... If stoney's most anticipated movie to watch was Gubra and Lelaki Komunis Terakhir (which is also happens to be mine) but I include several other movies in the list and one of them definitely The Da Vinci Code. Hopefully our Censorship Board didn't cut the film sampai dah jadik entah apa2. If not, long live the pirates. Aigghhttt....

I've read the books some time 2 years ago after being recommended by Chi who reads all Dan Brown's books. At that time I'm still obsessing reading Grisham's. Unlike Grisham's, who have a very slow starting on every damn book, Brown's book give me a thrill from start to finish. Hopefully the film was as good as the book. Looking at the cast I think my wish has a good chance to become true. :)

So now, my basketball game still 2 kali seminggu. Rabu and Friday. Ari khamis entah mana tah pihak penganjur, tahan sebulan jer ari tuh. takper la 2 kali seminggu pon dah cukup, byk2 kang kopak plak poket aku.

The guys still the same minus remie (mana tah, asyik letih jer :D), keng (lagi satu mangkuk yg aku tak paham, dah beli kasut, seluar baru sumer, dtg turun main baru sekali, isk isk isk), elyas (busy), stoney (mmg tak join dah), firus (MAS course), syed (sambung study) dan entah saper2 lagi tah. But takper la, ajai manage the session dgn jayanya. Skang nih ada satu mende yg still pending.. camner la nak suruh sorang mamat nih jgn datang. Coz bebudak nih ramai giler yg berbulu ngan dia nih. Kitorang tak call pon dia dtg gak.. isk isk isk...

Holidays and happenings:

1. Pesta Malam Indonesia Concert - wahh konsert nih next week and aku tak beli lagi the tiket. Skang tengah finalise saper2 yg confirm nak pegi and wanna me to buy their ticket first. Bebudak nih aku dah sms bukan reti nak reply, kang tak wat follow up kang aku jugak yg kena. isk isk isk.... weh jom lagi join sesaper yg nak pegi tuh... gerenti puas hati punyo...

2. Perhentian Island Trip - nih konon2 reunion trip. A large group of us will be going. 38 orang tuh, tak tahu la camner kan. Nanti tengok la. Hopefully this trip will be eventful and please la menarik. Lama siot aku tunggu nih...

3. Lantai T. Pinkie - adaptasi dari novel A. Samad Said. Pernah dipentaskan before this and this is the second time with a new faces as the heroin. Nasha Aziz tuh. Gila menarik aahh... If jadi la aku pegi nih, it will be the first time I watch theatre at Istana Budaya.

4. National Park Trip - Shariff and Kimin yg ajak aku nih. Diorang malas nak pegi 2 org jer taku org kata diorang gay. hahahhaha...mende la lu... Menarik jugak nih but Shariff, i told you before, it all depends on my budget. Kalo within my budget aku join. Kalo tak ko support la aku, aku join gak. heheh....

5. Bali Island Holiday - nih plan trip yg berapi2 lepas last Langkawi Island Holiday yg sangat2 successful. Still depends on the money la bro. Everything about the money eh.. damnn...

6. Sabah Getaway Trip - yg nih baru aku added dlm list. Milla told me that now she's working as a tourists guide there. So kalo nak pegi dia leh suggest aktiviti2 menarik and of course la she'll manage us while we're there. Cool. Ader diskaun kawan2 tuh. The activities ranging from nature, beach, gunung, shopping dan lain2. Tapi for me la kan kalo dah gi Sabah tuh, aktiviti2 yg melibatkan alam semulajadi la paling best. Pulau2, snorkeling, rafting, panjat gunung kinabalu (at least kena naik sekali nih), pastu she said aktiviti yg she's really into skang is deep water fishing. Woooo dengar jer dah cambest kan. So kalo ada antara u guys yg nak pegi Sabah but tak tahu mana nak contact for the activities ker... Do tell me, and I can give u Milla's number.

More serious matters:

1. Get my dissertation done - aiyooo... nak komen aper ek pasal mende alah nih. Hopefully i can settle this thing ASAP la... Tak larat nak pikir lagi la...

But personally I think that this is by far the most complicated season that they have played. With the break-up of Tina and Bette, Tina's confusion (again) about her sex life, Jenny and Moira (Max) being together, a menopaus Kit that suddenly found out that she's pregnant, Dana's death, Alice's obsession and the most gorgeus wedding reception preparation that end up with a runaway groom. Huh...

Have you ever heard the story of Kansas City Shuffle? I don't until last night when I watch the movie. Kansas City Shuffle now become a concept and the simple explaination is that you make someone look one way and you go another (e.g. The Usual Suspect). My kind of movie, really dig it. It was the story that full of twist and nothing seems like it was. Cool.

I think Harnett deliver a good performance in the movie. And not to forget other great actor, Bruce Willis, Ben Kingsley, MOrgan Freeman and Lucy Liu. I'm not gonna post a spoiler or synopsis of the film here. Kalau nak jugak, Google kan ada hehehe.... The film was good. Major twist from the beginning. Watch this movie if you like Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.

I went there for transferring our telephone line and streamyx account to the new home. It's been a month and they still haven't come to install our telephone line. Ada ke one time tu aku pegi nak tanya status diorang leh kata our address tak complete and suruh aku gi tanya jiran2 no telepon coz diorang nak check telephone no that area. Disebabkan hujan yg sangat lebat, maka aku yg sangap giler kat opis nih pon terpaksa la cuba2 melakarkan sepatah dua kata dalam blog nih. Hehehe... Nak citer pasal aper ek?

Hmm... some of you may already know that malam kelmarin our new house ada break-in. Isk, baru2 masuk dah ada mende tak best jadi. The total lost bley tahan jugak la especially Todd. Kalo aku jadik Todd la,mmg breakdown abis aahh... Cibai nyer pencurik.

So setelah kejadian malang tersebut, kitorang mengambil langkah2 pro-aktif untuk menigkatkan ciri2 keselamatan di rumah. Refer gambar. hehehe... giler aaah letak tv depan pintu tuh... bukan pencurik jer takleh masuk, ngan saper2 yg balik lambat pon takleh masuk ;)

Which one do you prefer? An ignorant person or an observant person?

A friend of mine called herself ignorant. And she treats it like it was not a good virtue to have. Ignorant is often misinterpreted as a synonym of stupidity, and is as thus often taken as an insult, when really it is, in it's correct form, not an insult at all but more of a criticism.

Ignorance is bliss. Sometimes it is. For me don't be too ignorant. Be ignorant secukup rasa jer dah cukup. Coz IMHO opposite ignorant is busybody.

Another friend plak sangat2 observant sampai things that I dont think people will notice pon she can notice. Sangat bahaya ooo if u love ur privacy and you're a secretive person.

Anyway, whether you're an ignorant or an observant person, you're both still my friends.

Thank God It's Friday. Esok dah cuti pon aku still takde mood nak keje ari nih. Maybe coz ari nih sejuk giler sampai terngiang2 tilam aku panggil suh balik. eheh... Last night, aku di drag oleh Haizal ajak makan kat Korean restaurant kat Plaza Pantai tuh. Giler aaa... Abis senak perut aku, makan buffet la katakan.

Consequencenyer, sepanjang malam ada la dlm 2-3 kali gak aku terjaga. Sakit perut la. Haus la. Panas la. hehehe... So ari nih dengan berat hatinya aku pon amik la half-day leave. Mmg dah takde mood kan nak wat camner. Takleh dipaksa2 dok depan pc nih. So aper nak buat ek petang nih? hmm...

Well, it's been raining every freaking evening this week. Miss my tennis game la. Not able to do sports kan makes you feel weak. Nak tido malam pon susah. Isk isk isk... tak larat nak depends on indoor sports, my pocket kering giler nih. Tapi kadang2 bila dah camnih, cam terpaksa la plak carik indoor sports yg aku leh main.

Basketball session just occupied 2 nights in a week. My badminton buddies dah takde, balik kampung. Kuril dok pushed me to join him wall-climbing at Summit. Tapi nak kena carik belayer sorang la plak. Dah ajak Haizal, he seems interested but tak tahu la bila nak gi try for the first time nih. Climbing.

Another sports that I really would like to try is Squash. hehehe... I know, it doesn't sound hard at all. 'Just go play la'. But I really don't know how to play squash. The rules sumer tak tahu. Untuk squash pulak, setelah puas bertanya rakan2 aku berjaya jugak jumpa orang yg pandai main and willing to teach and play with me. So skang kena carik time yg suit both of us.

Oh yeah, while writing this entry, it's pouring like there will be no tomorrow outside. Shah Alam people, watch out. Maybe another banjir coming your way. It's not a wish.

I've watch Walk The Line. Brilliant act by Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon. Love the songs in the movie. It's just I love Great Balls of Fire more. Intro aper nih? Takde kaitan ngan entry nih pon.

Yesterday, kiranya malam last lepak2 ngan Syidee before he get married. Malam ni he will go back to Kuala Kangsar to prepare for his 'big day' tomorrow. I can sense a mixed feeling between all our friends. Even the pengantin-baru-to-be pon have a mixed feeling. hehehe.. tahu pon ko sedih nak tinggalkan zaman bujang nih.

Chill bro. takyah la nak mintak2 maaf segala. ko nak kawin jer weh, bukan nak ke mana. Tapi kalo dah mintak maaf tuh, consider it all dah dimaafkan. heh...

Be a good husband. But dont forget to still be a good friend. Many people forget that when they get married. You should adapt your new life into your life now or vise-versa BUT NOT just forget it all and create a new life bro. Just my 2 cents la.

Within this 2 weeks, 2 of my buddies will get married. Heck, one of 'em already selamat. Congratulations to Elyas and Nani. Korang nampak ijau la semalam. kehkehkeh...
I've known Elyas since my high school time. Dari sekolah lagi he's known as "Faizal Hussein' because of his looks (although dia cam malu2 nak mengaku la kan, tapi aku tahu elyas ko suka org panggil ko faizal hussein). Pastu kitorang masuk Banting, UM sesama. And we used to play basketball sesama. He also happens to be what i called 'gi-wedding-bebudak-sekolah-buddies'. So now he's married, kena la aku carik org lain nak gi wedding with nih. Isk isk isk. Hopefully ko dah kawin nih jgn la nak dok umah jer ngan bini weh... Cam most of our frens yg dah kawen. Aku tahu Nani sporting so takde alasan... hehehehe

End of this week will be Syidee's turn. To celebrate his end of bachelorship, he decide to throw a lepak2, makan2, karaoke2 session. Maybe the last session before bergelar sang suami, which I miss btw. Dangg... Dah sebulan aku tak balik kampung ko tanak buat, time aku balik nih la ko nak open table pon. Cis cis cis.....

695 is not merely a name, a number or an engine size. 695 represents a most unique offering in the world of motorcycles and in the Ducati Monster family; it is a motorcycle that is welcoming to novice riders but, at the same time, is a Ducati, delivering a level of performance that can even thrill more advanced riders.

While remaining the entry point to the Ducati Monster family of motorcycles, the Ducati Monster 695 transforms a motorcyclist into a Ducatista.

Ducatisti are members of a tribe of fans whose motorcycle looks, feels and sounds like no other.

The Monster 695, a preview of the Model Year 2007, replaces the 620, and is a quantum leap forward in terms of handling, riding pleasure and performance. The potent new 695 cc L-Twin delivers much greater horsepower and torque – the highest output per cc of any Ducati air-cooled engine – while producing smoother and more fluid power, making every twist of the throttle exciting and satisfying.

A Monster is born

When Ducati unveiled the Monster 900 at the Cologne Show in the autumn of 1992, it created an overnight sensation. Today the streets of the world pulse with the rumble of more than 170,000 Monsters.

The original ‘naked’ motorcycle, the Monster introduced a unique street fighter attitude to a new generation of Ducati fans. The ‘look’ is defined by its essential approach to motorcycle design, with its bodywork pared down to the minimum and its characteristic twin-cylinder engine fully visible.

One of the most popular Monsters of all time is the Monster 600, which was presented in 1994. The 600 introduced a less intimidating, yet high quality and performance entry into the world of Ducati. The sales success of this, the lightest and most versatile model in the range, was amazing, and it remains an important contributor in creating the iconic status that the Monster enjoys today.

Growing popularity led to the introduction of the Monster 600 Dark in 1998. The idea of the Dark was born based on the observation that so many Monsters were being customized and what better place to start than with the ‘blank canvas’ of the Dark’s black matte paint job. The ‘Dark’ became a style unto itself with its understated attitude and even more essential and fashionable look.

The next stage in development was a substantial restyling of the entire Monster family in 2000. Fuel tank, seat, tail section, and many other components were reshaped and modernised.

2002 saw the first major re-engineering of the original 600 with the launch of the Monster 620 i.e. It was the first middleweight Monster to be fuel injected, and this was combined with significant engine, frame and suspension advancements and updates. The result was a more powerful, smoother running bike that achieved new levels of reliability and efficiency.

This long success story now sets the stage for the next evolution of middleweight Monsters, and the introduction of the new DUCATI Monster 695.

TECHNICAL ADVANCEMENTS

The Engine

The engine of the 695 is the most important technical advancement, and much more than an additional 77 cc of displacement might indicate. The new L-Twin delivers new levels of horsepower and torque, but maintains a smooth and fluid power delivery that ensures an exciting performance in all conditions.

The 695’s increase in displacement was achieved with the application of an even more ‘over-square’ design compared to the 620. The enlargement of the cylinder bore from 80mm to 88mm and the reduction in the stroke from 61.5mm to 57.2mm results in a larger combustion chamber which allows the use of larger intake and exhaust valves, as well as 17% lower piston speeds for greater reliability.

The 620’s intake and exhaust valves were 41 mm and 35 mm respectively, while the 695 boasts 43mm and 38mm valves. The larger valves and seats are matched to larger ports with the net result being improved flow capabilities and increased power. Although the valve faces are larger in diameter, the valves remain light thanks to the change to 7mm valve stems, as used in our Testastretta engines, versus the 8mm stems of the 620.

The end result is that the 63 horsepower of the 620 has been increased to 73HP for the 695, the highest output per cubic centimetre of all our Ducati air-cooled engines. Of course there is a significant increase in torque from the already impressive 5.7Kgm of the 620, to an outstanding 6.2Kgm for the 695.

The Monster 695 takes full advantage of the Ducati exclusive Adler Power Torque Clutch, a unique system that makes the 695 even friendlier, safer and more comfortable. It provides an amazingly light clutch pull that is a true benefit especially in urban riding, where frequent stops require frequent clutch use.

Another advantage of the ‘slipper’ clutch, typically found on race bikes, is that it reduces the destabilizing rear wheel “lock-up” or “chatter” phenomenon when downshifting abruptly or inelegantly. It also benefits advanced riders, and racers alike, for the very same reasons.

Exhaust system

The Monster 695’s two traditional aluminium oval silencers are combined with advanced features of a new exhaust system. A lambda (oxygen) sensor has been employed on the horizontal exhaust manifold, and this, combined with advanced electronic fuel injection, managed by a powerful Magneti Marelli 5AM ECU, guarantees an optimal air/fuel ratio in ever-changing conditions.

Two larger catalytic converters manufactured with more advanced materials are housed inside the two silencers. The combination of the lambda sensor, the new catalytic converters and advanced electronics allow the 695 to responsibly adhere to the tough new Euro3 emission standards. Of course standard equipment includes the uniquely beautiful and throaty Ducati exhaust note. The unmistakable sound is music to the ears of Ducatisti - a symphony of internal combustion.

Chassis
The new engine clearly needs to be mated to a similarly advanced frame, and the Monster 695 takes full advantage of the confidence-inspiring road-holding and stability of the unique Ducati trellis frame design. The Trellis frame is light, rigid and beautiful, and distinctively Ducati. The rider’s environment on the 695 is a perfect mix of sporting character and a confident upright rider position that allows optimal control and comfort. Every Monster 695 rider will feel perfectly at ease thanks to Ducati’s lowest seat height, which is 30 mm lower than all other Monsters.

The Monster 695 sports quality Marzocchi 43 mm inverted forks and a Sachs rear shock with adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. At the front, the 695 employs a Brembo braking system made up of two 300 mm floating discs, together with floating twin-piston calipers. The single 245 mm rear disc sports a fixed twin-piston Brembo caliper.

Instrument panel

As on every model in the Monster family, the electronic dash is multi-functional, allowing the rider to switch to either the oil temperature or clock readout even while riding. It is also possible to dim the instrument’s illumination should they be too intense during night riding. The odometer and trip metre readings are indicated on a LCD. An anti-theft system is standard equipment, and its status is displayed on the instrument panel.

A new look and finish

The Monster 695 introduces new graphics and appealing new colour treatments in line with its increased performance. The trellis frame and engine area has a new ‘clean’ and uncluttered look, as electrical wires and connectors have been hidden, and the need for numerous wire ties has been eliminated. What’s left is the simple elegance of the trellis frame surrounding the potent new 695 engine.

Three different colour schemes are available with the 695:

* traditional Ducati Red, with red frame and black wheels
* aggressive Glossy Black, with red frame and black wheels
* distinctive Matte Black, with matte black frame and black wheels

At the front end of the bike, the upper and lower fork crowns, along with the lower fork caliper mounts, disc carriers and headlamp support, formerly raw aluminium in colour, are now matte black. The high performance theme is further extended to the rear of the bike with a black swingarm and footpeg brackets. Both engine and clutch cases are also now black, a classic racer ‘look’ just recently reintroduced on the Sport Classic series. The black theme is finally harmonized with matte black wheels to complete this new Monster’s attitude.

New graphics include a subtle colour change to the Ducati logo on the fuel tank with the subdued silver of the 620 now realized in a bolder pure white for the 695. The side covers have the word ‘Monster’ in a much larger font, followed by an even more dominating ‘695’ to boldly proclaim the bike’s new found status. Also new is the application of the Italian “tricolore”, a flash of red, white and green at the back of each side cover, to proudly announce the 695’s national heritage.

Maintenance

Ongoing investment in the Ducati factory’s processes, machinery and training has reaped significant and quantifiable improvements in component reliability on every Ducati motorcycle. As a result, every new Monster 695 owner benefits from an extended, less frequent scheduled maintenance programme, which does not call for the first complete service until 12,000 Km (7,500 miles).

the mystery:
too many la kalo nak list all of 'em. but what i remember dearly citer2 yg sgt bizzare. such as there's one time, our toilet lamp out of order. because of the toilet location, it will be total gelap without that lampu. we just ignore the darkness and just do our thing in that toilet. tak kesah la gelap2 pon. after nearly a month without a light. one fine evening tuh, kuril see something strange in the kolah. wtf kan... check2 rupanya2 there's a dead cat. mati lemas... arghhhh..... sgt geli, kotor dan lain2... from where the cat dtg pon still remain mysteries to us.

antara cause yg kitorang rasa la:
1. kuril join balik geng2 death metal dia. and the kucing is part of his ritual. hahahha
2. shapeng do his thing.
3. the kucing nak tangkap tikus kat atas bumbung rumah, pastu jatuh dlm kolah yg sangat kurang air dia. setelah berenang selama beberapa jam, tak larat pastu lemas aaa... (but we still dont know where the cat coming from)

the mystery:
this is the story of second time gasing dimasuki pencuri. the thief enter the house in broad daylight. it happen between 1-2 pm. the story goes like this. mandom keluar gi zainol. so this happen between time dia kuar, tapau zainol(which we know takde la lama sgt) and balik. when mandom balik he saw one yellow 125Z facing towards the road. then after he park his bike, this one guy dgn selambanya berjalan keluar dari rumah, selang dua tiga langkah mandom panggil la dia and he just run towards his bike and blah.(mandom shud baling jer kari zainol kat mamat tuh, pastuh suruh jonny follow bau dia, mesti seminggu tak hilang punyer)

in the house masa tu ada dell yg sedang tido. after an overview checking, the house seems perfectly normal with no stuff seems out of place or missing.but after dell woke up and prepare nak gi zainol jugak, baru dia realised yg his pants was missing along with his wallet. hehehee... the mystery kan, dlm byk2 bilik, kenapa la that thief dgn selambanya masuk bilik yg ada org(even he's asleep). pastu amik seluar dell(maybe because of that wallet). walhal byk lagi rete benda lain. if he just look into one locker pon he'll surely found digicam la, coins la, wristwatch dan lain-lain.(not that i hope he steal more than what he got)

I hate moving out

I've officially move out from Gasing. The weekends was fill with round trips between Jln Gasing and Seksyen 17. For those who've help us I personally thank you for that. Really appreaciate the gesture. Now I still have a lot of unpacking to do. And to know me, I'm sure it will take quite some time. Sigh...

Despite a very hectic week, I manage to watch the latest installment of Actorlympics, Derailed and Pride & Prejudice. Actorlympics, although it was nowhere near as good as Whose Line Is It Anyway, it sure do the trick. It was hillarious. Note people, do go when it was full though.

Watched Derailed, it reminds me of Trapped. Both movie was good. The storyline was good. Pride & Prejudice, well what can I say. It was a very entertaining movie. Bonus with Keira Knightley as a heroin.

This weekend is the final weekend we be at Gasing.

Terkuburnya satu tempat melepak hujung minggu/mlm hari yg sangat happening. Setelah 5 tahun, finally, there will be no more "Gasing". Ayat-ayat seperti "Wei, jom gi gasing", "Korang kat gasing ek?", "Kumpul gasing dulu weh", akan hanya tinggal kenangan. Chewahh... Sedih siot.

Tuh tak masuk lagi yang kira clan gasing (ari2 datang, mandi, tido, tukar baju, main game, tgk bola, tgk F1, surf net, tgk DVD, layan astro, bla bla bla) such as (kena mention gak) Affy, Haizal, Syidee, Jibam, Pullah, Elyas, Kai, Stoney, Kent, dll.

Setelah 5 tahun, 4 successfully organized party, 4 weddings, couple of break-ins, couple of break-ups finally gasing will officially dibubarkan. Berkuatkuasa 1 Mac 2006. Kalau orang tanya reason kenapa kitorang ciao from gasing, aku akan kata "kerana nila setitik kahwin, rosak gasing serumah" hehehe... Tak larat beb nak maintain, sewa makin mahal, budak makin kurang, rumah makin buruk :P.

I'm keen to make this entry very memorable, but to write about how gasing really mean to us(me and my friends) seems like there's no ending. But don't u guys worry, we'll still be around. Maybe after this no more gasing but there's seven-teen(17) hehehe... Yeah, that's where we move. Till later.

I feel sick looking at the pictures of tortured prisoners in Abu Gharib prison. SBS yesterday release 100 photos that never been published before. It shows that all the claims are true. How can a person do something so sick to another human being? Nothing can justify what they do to the prisoners. All the torturing, for what? Revenge? Amusement? For God sake whoever feel amused in doing something like that really need help.

Travel Fair 2006

I've tried to access Malaysian Airlines for the past 3 hours but seems the website is currently down. Hopefully it will be fully functional during the Fair period. BTW It's on 17th - 26th February. Previously MAS held its travel fair at the specific location but this year they decided to go virtual as part of its cost-cutting measures. The move is good but they have to make sure their website capabilities up to the expectation. The bandwidth should be big enough so the customer won't have difficulties to do their transactions.

I manage to view the websites. The offer was really good. I'm browsing ticket for Australia, Denpasar, Bandung and Tokyo. Cheap. Tickets to Tokyo for one-way trip didn't even cost 1K. Wahhh...
Now I have to make decisions to which destinations that I should go for my next trip.

Valentine's Day from my point of view. Every single thing in this world has pros and cons, have good and bad, have people who agree with and people who do not. Here in Malaysia, I think the way we (for whose celebrating) celebrate give pressure to everyone. It doesn’t matter whether you're single or not. Of course the pressures differ.

If you're single, maybe you'll feel a bit tense coz u don’t have special someone to be with on this day. And if you're not single, the pressure to impress or to show how much you love your partner will take it's toll.

The way we here celebrate this day was similar to Western style, the pressure mostly on men but do you know in Japan and Korea, on Valentine's Day the pressure was on women. On this day, women will give candy to men they like. Rather than being voluntary however, this has become an obligation for women there to give chocolates to all their male co-workers, sometimes at significant personal expense. Huh...

Some people blame the big company that promotes this day as their marketing strategy. Some people just happy there's one more day that dedicated to them to show their love. Some people just don't care.

Whoever you're I wish you Happy Valentine's Day. Do you feel the pressure??

It was truly a bad movie. From the storyline, scripts, plots, everything wasn't right. Please do not watch it, go watch another movie. Serious.

From the title and the synopsis, I am expecting a hi-tech heist, or a very good con movie that manipulate technology to achieve their target.

They just put some actor to act as a damn programmer and then came up with the name 'Firewall". Bull. Harrison Ford, what the hell do you thinking when you accept this freaking job? Argghhh...

Quickie. ManU win. Chelsea lost. Had three teh session in one night. Raju closed on Thaipusam. Maryland fried rice at Murni cost me 10 bucks. Need a new basketball shoes. First heard Awie's new song, Iris. Nice song. This month i've already overspent and it's freaking only 13th day of the month.

Something strange happened to me a while ago. I hit a bird with my freaking car. It's weird eh... I never thought that bird couldn't dodge before my car hit him/her. Most of the time birds will able to fly away or dodge at the very last moment. Seriously...

Now, I'm thinking. Maybe the bird just wants commit suicide. It might be true you know. Birds can't just commit suicide by jump from a tall building, coz they can fly. It's nature. So they just stand in the middle of the highway and let someone hit 'em. Oh, how am I gonna prove this theory?

The issues of cartoons and press freedom have been in the frontpage news for quite a some time now. They use the freedom of speech concept to justify something that I believe was only an act of stupidity. Freedom of speech shouldn't be used or abused to provoke something so sensitive to certain people. Oh yes, religion is very sensitive if you idiots didn't know. It just like playing with fire. Stupid.

There's nothing, I repeat nothing in this world that could justify publishing the cartoons. It's immature, irrespecful, insensitive and again, stupid.

A week long holiday. I'm still struggling to get all my things in order. It's quite a mess I told ya. Between study and working. I really need the holiday, which I got it.

Went to a beach. Nothing beats "bici-bici" at the beach. Hopefully I manage to do all things accordingly and not forget to update this blog. Huh...
